I just met with Rachel Verni, who is the director of the Undergraduate Research Initiative at Hunter. She mentioned that the Initiative would like to attract more humanists to participate in the program. So, humanists: here’s what’s attractive. You get a research assistant, and the student gets his/her feet wet in a bit of research.
As Rachel and I discussed, digital projects might be a particularly good fit for the Initiative if you’ve got a tool or project in mind and you can identify a student who might have some expertise to share.
